Every year 640.000 tonnes of fishing gear are dumped into our oceans. Fishing nets that have been discarded at sea are one of the most harmful form of ocean debris.

As the first brand ever Le Cord has set up an infrastructure for producing charging accessories made of recycled fishing gear collected from the fishing industry. Their first collection is made mainly of recycled fishing nets. If not collected and recycled the nets might end up floating around in the oceans as Ghosts.

By collecting all types of fishing nets and recycling and reprocessing them into new products we can break this viscous loop and help preserve the marine flora and fauna with safe and healthy seas.
